About the Job
We are hiring a Consumer Insights – Senior Analyst to support the build-out of a consumer insights function based in Vietnam, with a primary focus on the US market.This role is responsible for using data to deeply understand customer behavior, identify high-value segments, support retention and loyalty initiatives, and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations for product, marketing, and leadership teams. You will work closely with a strong AI (LLM) and data engineering team that is building data → insights → action loops.This is an ideal role for someone excited about AI-powered consumer insights, hands-on analytics, and working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer behavior by diving deep into purchase patterns, retention curves, cohort performance, and customer journeys to understand drivers of engagement and churn
- Build recurring reports and dashboards used by the business to track customer health and inform decision-making
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to answer “why” something is happening and provide clear insights and recommendations
- Support retention and loyalty initiatives by analyzing campaign performance, test results, and program effectiveness
- Develop a strong understanding of the business, including retail, ecommerce, and delivery operations and key performance metrics
- Build and maintain customer segmentation frameworks based on behavior, value, and lifecycle stage
- Leverage modern analytics and AI-powered tools to work faster and uncover insights at scale
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable stories for product, marketing, and leadership stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in analytics, consumer insights, consulting, or similar roles (e.g. market research, ecommerce analytics)
- Experience working with US or international companies
- Fluency in English with strong data-focused communication skills
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to independently pull, clean, and analyze data
- Solid understanding of key business metrics, including retention rates, cohort analysis, customer lifetime value, funnel conversion, and repeat purchase behavior
- Proven ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
- High attention to detail and analytical rigor
- Curious, proactive mindset with the ability to investigate issues independently
- Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Preferred Requirement
- Experience in ecommerce, marketplace, DTC, or delivery platforms
- Background in consumer insights, market research, or category management
- Experience using BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
- Exposure to customer data platforms or marketing analytics tools
- Understanding of experimentation and A/B testing frameworks
- Interest in or exposure to modern AI tools applied to analytics and insights
